Global Changemakers: Lindiwe & Wilbert’s Singapore Forum

From the classrooms of Harare to the international spotlight in Singapore, Teach For Zimbabwe alumni Lindiwe Chitubura (2nd cohort) and Wilbert Siziba (3rd cohort) have earned the honor of representing Zimbabwe at the Global Forum for a Better Future, taking place from April 7–9, 2025.

This forum is a unique gathering of visionary changemakers from around the world, all committed to finding solutions in education, innovation, and sustainable development. Lindiwe and Wilbert will ensure Zimbabwe’s challenges, innovations, and aspirations are heard on the global stage.

Lindiwe has become a courageous advocate for girls’ education, dismantling barriers for young girls in marginalized communities through menstrual health programs, mentorship initiatives, and safe learning spaces. Her passion for creating an education system that nurtures every learner, especially those on the margins, is what drives her work.

Wilbert, a dynamic leader from the 3rd cohort, has led the way in curriculum design and digital learning. His innovative hybrid learning models have brought interactive, technology-integrated learning to rural classrooms, setting a new standard for innovation in low-resource environments.

Their participation in the forum is not just a personal achievement—it’s a powerful statement: Zimbabwe’s educators are shaping global educational discourse, not merely reacting to it. As they represent Zimbabwe in Singapore, Lindiwe and Wilbert carry the voices of countless learners, advocating for a more inclusive, equitable global education system.
