Kuyenda Collective – Education Out Loud

The Kuyenda Collective is an Education Out Loud (EOL) OC3 grantee operating in Malawi, Mozambique, Tanzania and Zimbabwe addressing the learning crisis through systems strengthening. In Zimbabwe, the Teach For Zimbabwe is running the project with various youths through trainings, advocacy work, and exchange programs.

This project is contributing to improve the ability of rural youth collectives in participating effectively in transnational spaces in an effort to positively influence the access, quality, and relevance of education systems for enhanced learning outcomes, particularly for marginalized groups. The overall aim of the project is to ‘promote systems thinking development in traditional education spaces to shift the dynamics of education-focused systems and networks of actors towards better policies to achieve improved and equitable learning outcomes. Amplify the voices & create greater visibility of Rural Youth in Transnational Spaces, addressing their disconnection from education policy and the actors that drive it.’

Here in Zimbabwe, the Teach for Zimbabwe is working with ninety young people from the 3 districts. Thirty from Chiredzi, thirty from Mutoko and thirty from Binga.
